Senior Backend Developer PHP

Blue Code Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer PHP to join our team in Alicante. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation.

Requirements

  • Independent in creating solutions, architecture, and implementations.
  • +5 years of PHP experience.
  • +3 years of MVC Framework experience.
  • +3 years of experience with SQL (MySql, PostgreSQL or similar).
  • Familiar with design patterns and SOLID principles.
  • Experience with Web API development, HTTP, consuming external APIs, templating frameworks like blade/twig, HTML/JS/CSS, and Linux.
  • Experience working in a team & Scrum.
  • Nice to have: DevOps (Kubernetes, CI, CD) and experience with performance and optimization problems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Level Developer with a strong portfolio of previous work.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English, word, and writing (at least at a B2 level).
  • Full-time job – 40 hours per week.
  • Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience and/or skills.
