Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Process Engineer to join our team at Solera. As a key member of our localization team, you will be responsible for managing technical processes and databases used in our online product file release workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Management
    • Administer day-to-day technical processes involved in product file release workflow.
    • Develop and administer product build (SQL / AWS) databases, including maintenance and optimization of production processes.
  • Coordination and Collaboration
    • Coordinate with all departments to address technical questions, product development, and process/project improvements.
  • Release Management
    • Build, compile, and test all production files, data, and content for monthly release cycles.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Identify and investigate operational opportunities and problems, and implement effective solutions through improvements in technology solutions and business processes.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical process engineering role within a localization environment.
    • Exposure to content management systems and web technologies is beneficial.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Excellent knowledge of XML and a rudimentary understanding of JSON.
    • Ability to read code and familiarity with database environments and mechanisms.
    • Knowledge of various web publishing techniques.
    • Experience with different types of source content, including complex software files, transform-based processes, and database management.
    • Awareness of localization and globalization procedures and practices.

    • Proven track record of getting things done, taking ownership, and being energetic and passionate.
    • Good written and verbal skills.
    • Flexible, self-starter, and able to manage own time successfully.
    • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
    • Good teamwork skills and ability to deal with multiple internal clients and departments.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be eligible to live and work in Spain.
  • Able to travel, UK and abroad.
