We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team in Spain. As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in the Energy, Infrastructure, and Manufacturing sectors with environmental permitting, impact assessment, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Studies

Develop pre-feasibility and environmental and social impact assessment studies, permitting studies, and EDD (mainly focused on the Italian market).

Manage Environmental Critical Aspects

Manage environmental critical aspects to ensure compliance with all applicable Spanish regulations.

Support Project Delivery

Support in managing or coordinating small-size projects or whole elements of larger multidisciplinary or global projects.

Deliver Project Tasks and Components

Deliver multiple project tasks or components, including the development of proposals.

Supervise Project Teams

Supervise project team(s) and mentor junior personnel.

Establish Client Relationships

Establish strong working relationships with clients through project delivery.

Support Commercial Activities

Support with commercial activities: business development, proposals writing, and pitching.

Requirements

  1. Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering or Sciences

A master's degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Sciences or other relevant disciplines.

Project Management Experience

Experience as a project manager and generating revenues.

Relevant Work Experience

Ideally 4-6 years of experience in relevant fields such as consulting or environmental services, with specific focus on environmental permitting, EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) and/or Environmental Social Due Diligence, in Spain.

Language Skills

Proficiency in Spanish and English, written and spoken.

International Standards

Familiarity with International Standards (IFC, EBRD, etc.).

Emerging Energy Systems

Experience with emerging energy systems (hydrogen, offshore wind, battery storage, floating solar) will be considered a plus.
