Compliance and AML Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Specialist to join our team at Talenom Spain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage compliance and AML software to ensure effective risk management.
  • Train and mentor teams on compliance and AML issues to ensure a strong understanding of regulations.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of suspicious transactions and gather relevant information.
  • Document and communicate investigation results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Prepare Suspicious Transaction Reports and Suspicious Transaction Communications.
  • Advise teams on risk identification and analysis related to money laundering and terrorist financing prevention.
  • Review and validate customer documentation and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain updated customer records and documents.
  • Analyze Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) detections and sanctioned to avoid false positives.
  • Ensure detection systems are accurate and effective.
  • Participate in updating and improving internal regulations regarding AML and terrorist financing prevention.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or Finance with a deep understanding of AML.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with analytical mindset.
  • Strong sense of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
