About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Dynamics Testing Specialist to join our team at Applus IDIADA. As a key member of our chassis testing team, you will be responsible for leading technical activities related to ride and handling objective testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Test Vehicle Instrumentation: Oversee the installation of sensors and configuration of data acquisition devices, ensuring complete vehicle testing.
  • Execute Test Programs: Direct and oversee test programs in accordance with project requirements, focusing on ride and handling manoeuvres.
  • Analyze Test Data: Conduct in-depth analysis of test data, focusing on ride and handling metrics, and present comprehensive reports to derive actionable project insights.
  • Process Development and Improvement: Scrutinize existing testing procedures and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality, proposing new ideas to expand current services in chassis testing.
Support Sales Process

Collaborate closely with the Vehicle Dynamics Testing Manager to offer valuable support in drafting technical proposals and quotations.

Requirements
  • Education: Possession of an Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or Mechatronics.
  • Profile: Demonstrated experience of 1 to 3 years in vehicle testing, with a strong preference for expertise in brakes or vehicle dynamics.
  • Skills: Experience in measurement technology and data acquisition systems, familiarity with CAN communication equipment, proficiency in NI Diadem or other data analysis tools, and MS Office applications.
  • Language Skills: Full working proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory, with proficiency in other languages, particularly German, considered advantageous.
