Mathematics Teacher with ICT Specialization

The English School is seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Teacher with expertise in ICT to join our team. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the curriculum to students aged 11-18, including IGCSE and A-Level Maths. The ability to teach ICT in Key Stage 3 is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver departmental schemes of work in accordance with the National Curriculum and students' needs.
• Create an effective and stimulating learning environment.
• Mark, test, assess, and record in accordance with school and department policy.
• Use progress data to inform subject planning.
• Contribute to students' end of term reports in line with school policy.
• Enforce school rules in class and at all times around the school.
• Liaise with the Head of Secondary or Safeguarding officers regarding any concerns about individual students.

Requirements:

• A degree in Mathematics or a relevant degree.
• A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• C2/Mother tongue level of English.
• Secure subject knowledge to teach Mathematics across the secondary age range, including IGCSE and A-Level.
• An ability to challenge all students to achieve excellent progress, in accordance with their needs.
