At Inspired Education Group, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary Cover Teacher to join our team on a temporary, full-time basis until December 31st, 2024. As a key member of our Secondary department, you will be responsible for substituting for absent staff, teaching a full-time timetable of support across the Secondary school, and contributing to group planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Substitute for Secondary staff on long-term absence, as needed.
- Teach a full-time timetable of support across the Secondary school.
- Participate in group planning and contribute to the development of educational programs.
- Assume tutorial responsibilities, as required.
- Participate in educational trips and visits, as needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Hold a university degree in an appropriate subject.
- Be a qualified teacher with U.K. qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Have the right to work in Spain immediately.
- Be able to set clear expectations and stretching goals.
- Adopt an adaptable teaching style that incorporates feedback.
- Have a depth of understanding in the relevant subject area.
- Be able to judge learning effectiveness.
- Prepare and plan lessons with excellence.
- Assess student outcomes and provide feedback to enhance performance.
