Job Summary
The Ow Ocean Winds is seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Ethics Specialist to join its team. As an integral part of the organization, this role will play a crucial part in the implementation and monitoring of the Ethics and Compliance Program across all geographies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the Corporate Ethics and Compliance Department in designing, implementing, and monitoring the Ethics and Compliance Program globally.
- Coordinate risk assessments, mitigation controls, and control efficiency evaluations.
- Monitor new legal and regulatory developments and create or update policies and procedures as needed.
- Provide ethics and compliance advice to stakeholders.
- Propose and coordinate communication and awareness actions aligned with the Corporate Ethics and Compliance Communication Plan.
- Develop, maintain, and apply compliance protocols and tools.
- Assist with third-party integrity due diligence and investigation procedures related to complaints or issues.
- Support non-compliance case monitoring, treatment, and proposal of measures for resolution.
Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Law or related field; Master's degree preferred. Compliance or Internal Controls Certification also desired.
Languages: Full professional proficiency in English. Knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage.
Professional Experience/Knowledge: 7-10 years of experience in Compliance in international Audit Firms or Compliance areas/Departments of law firms or companies. International experience is preferred. Knowledge of main International Anti-Corruption Legislation and Standards is required.
