Job Description

Mar Recruitment & Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Technology Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our offshore project, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of pipeline main line equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the working status of pipeline main line equipment during project execution and preparation.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical works in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
  • Execute activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
  • Verify equipment and materials are in good and safe operating conditions, reporting any anomalies to the pipeline technologies engineer.
  • Assure correct storage of spare parts and verification of their compatibility with installations.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ensure coordination in assigned working context to grant a safe work environment.
  • Provide regular maintenance and repair of pipeline technologies equipment.
  • Install pipeline technologies equipment in accordance with the scope of work provided by the pipeline technologies engineer.
  • Perform operations needed for equipment requiring refurbishment.
  • Follow and understand the permit to work statement.
  • Assure that planned maintenance in all pipeline technologies equipment is done as per schedule/instructions.
  • Assure that all maintenance interventions are properly and exhaustively reported.
  • Assure that all possible and required modifications are done in line with the plan and properly reported.
  • Be part of a continuous monitoring process of pipeline technologies equipment, suggesting to the pipeline technologies engineer and line management any possible modifications/upgrades to constantly improve efficiency, functionality, and safety.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge in reading electrical/mechanical drawings.
  • Basic skills in problem-solving/troubleshooting.
  • Experience with welding equipment and technologies.
  • Knowledge in the electrical and electrotechnical field.
  • Able to process commissioning of electrical and instrumentation.
  • 2-5 years of experience.
  • Intermediate English level spoken and written is mandatory.
  • Minimum MS Office/computer knowledge.
