Cloud Computing Architect Role

Do you have a knack for helping companies understand application architectures and integration approaches? As a Cloud Computing Architect at Amazon, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services across the partner community.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Owning the technical engagement with strategic partners.
  2. Defining partner technical enablement strategies which enable our customers and partners to become more successful on AWS.
  3. Providing architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements worldwide.

Requirements:

  1. Significant hands-on implementation or consulting experience and strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  2. Several years of experience in customer-facing roles with a proven record of effective collaborations across multiple internal organizations and interactions with partners and customers.
  3. Strong communications skills (English).
  4. BA/BS degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
  2. AWS Certification, e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
  3. Past experience writing and publishing technical whitepapers desirable.
