Lead UI Artist

Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead UI Artist to join our team. As a key member of our UI team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of user interfaces for our games.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of UI Artists to create high-quality user interfaces for our games
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and immersive user experiences
  • Develop and maintain UI design standards and guidelines
  • Provide regular feedback and guidance to UI Artists to ensure consistency and quality
  • Work with external partners to ensure delivery and consistency of UI assets

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as a UI Artist or Visual Artist, with one shipped title having owned UI-related feature
  • Deep understanding of hierarchy, layout, color, typography, iconography, and usability design principles
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to quickly switch context

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with external vendors
  • Prior experience working with MTX in User Interfaces
  • Passion for the Diablo franchise and ARPG genre
