About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Engineer to join our Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions for Supply Chains team at BASF SE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to derive insights from data that support better and faster business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Work in close alignment with project team members and stakeholders to fully understand background and business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical concepts, especially regarding Generative AI frameworks and architecture.
  • Drive the sustainable implementation of our new GenAI-oriented Supply Chain Intelligence platform.
  • Develop and implement microservices on the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • Manage communication with external vendors to validate the landscape design & integration concept.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
  • 4+ years of professional implementation experience in software engineering/development.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical and professional knowledge:
    • At least 3 years of software/Frontend engineering experience with JavaScript, Spring Boot, or.NET Core.
    • Experience with Angular, Vue, HTML5, and CSS.
    • Unit testing using Jasmine, Karma, or NUnit.
    • User interface development for Generative AI, like ChatGPT.
