Software Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) team at Swiss Re. As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the technical design and implementation of improvements to our application landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of software architecture in Swiss Re's B2B Identity & Access Management (IAM) landscape
  • Design and drive the landscape's transformation to improve resiliency, automation, and standardisation of B2B IAM services
  • Act as a technical lead for the delivery of new services and transforming existing services
  • Collaborate with other experts in the team to ensure seamless integration of new services across the company
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in the field of professional software development including large, complex applications
  • Skills and experience in software engineering, application or solution architecture, API architecture, event-driven architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to push architecture topics forward as part of a team or independently
  • Determination to delve into technical, conceptual, or architectural layers
  • Good communication and presentation skills in spoken and written English
