Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Controller Junior to join our team at Reconocida empresa, a leading independent power producer in the renewable energy sector. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation and oversight of budgets, reviewing financial transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in preparing and overseeing the budget preparation, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Financial Statement Review: Review and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow, to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Audit Support: Provide support during the audit process, ensuring seamless coordination and communication with auditors.
  • Financial Reporting: Review and oversee all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and other financial/tax-related reports.
  • Cash Flow Management: Track and analyze cash flow, identifying areas for improvement and proposing corrective actions to ensure optimal financial performance.
  • Treasury Functions: Support treasury functions by coordinating and managing the treasury/cash planning of the portfolio, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Financial Compliance: Monitor bank transactions and balances, and forecast cash flow/capital requirements to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a financial role.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Highly organized, ability to prioritize, and detail-oriented. Fluent in English and Spanish; other European languages are a plus. Excellent management, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge and Certifications: Knowledge in Spanish GAAP; IFRS desirable.
