Job Opportunity: Permanent Professor of Physiotherapy Sciences

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our team as a Permanent Professor of Physiotherapy Sciences at La Jolla Veterinary Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver high-quality teaching programs in physiotherapy sciences.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans for various subjects in physiotherapy sciences.
  • Participate in the institution's administrative tasks as a permanent professor.
Essential Requirements:
  • Master's degree or higher in Physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Ph.D. in Physiotherapy or a related field.
  • At least one year of university teaching experience.
  • Proficiency in Catalan language to ensure effective communication with students.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • University teaching experience in clinical specialties in physiotherapy.
  • Research experience in physiotherapy sciences.
  • Accreditation in research or ability to obtain it.
  • Additional university degree in a field related to health sciences.
  • Experience in university management.
  • Competence in English language (B2.2 level or higher).
Selection Process:

The selection process will consist of two phases: CV assessment and presentation-defense.

In the CV assessment phase, candidates will be evaluated based on their qualifications and experience.

Those who exceed 40 points will be invited to present and defend their position.

Presentation-Defense:
  • Present professional, academic, and scientific career (10 minutes).
  • Deliver a master class on a topic related to physiotherapy sciences (20 minutes).
  • Answer questions from the selection committee (10 minutes).
Labor Aspects:
  • Full-time permanent employment contract.
  • Morning and afternoon hours.
  • Incorporation into the academic year.
