Job Profile: Data Scientist

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to develop and implement state-of-the-art classification and predictive models to solve complex healthcare problems. Our team focuses on global and local healthcare domains, including sales and marketing, client, clinical services, network, and payment integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop end-to-end data analytics development and implementation cycles to create value for the business
  • Collaborate with Region Leads of Data and Analytics and Product Owners to understand business problems and formulate data analytics approaches
  • Produce descriptive analytics and assist in implementing predictive and prescriptive analytics
  • Track the value created by each analytics implementation
  • Stay up-to-date with data ingestion and enrichment, including first and third-party data, and work with Data Engineering and Cloud Engineering
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and artificial intelligence ethics, working with Data Management and Governance

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or above in Data Science, Statistics, Actuary, Mathematics, or Econometrics
  • Additional qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Science are advantageous
  • Mastery in predictive and prescriptive analytics
  • Knowledge of International Classification of Diseases (ICD), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), Current Dental Terminology (CDT), ATC/INN, or other Pharmacy standards terminologies is preferable
  • Experience in relational database (RDB) architecture, RDB handling, SQL, and Python coding is essential
  • Experience in Cloud computing, preferably Amazon Web Services, Sagemaker, Athena, is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous
