**Job Overview**

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Optimization Specialist to join our team at Adient in Swiebodzin, Poland. This role will focus on monitoring and optimizing Profit Plan SCM financial figures, ensuring the efficient use of SCM Systems, and driving Continuous Improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Monitor and optimize Profit Plan SCM financial figures, providing action plans as required for Inventory, Freight costs, Plant Materials Flow, Indirect Labor, and Other Logistics Costs.
* Ensure the effective usage and setup of SCM Systems, including MMS, SAP, and I-net Freight Management.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating Logistics Agreements, managing Delivery Performance, and ensuring EDI compliance.
* Collaborate with the Plant Logistics Manager to define targets and roadmaps for Continuous Improvement, supporting the execution of CI Freight defined with Tdesk and following up on Freight/EQU performance.
* Conduct regular audits of MMSA or MMOG processes to ensure compliance with BOS, creating and implementing action plans as needed.
* Provide support and review during the ramp-up period and stabilization after SOP for new projects/launches, including Planning and designing material flow/logistics.
* Handover contact for Launch & Costing logistics matrix from PLUS phases 1-2 to phases 3-5, considering the impact of changes in footprint and concepts.
* Support Business Building Process (BBP) and Central initiatives/projects, serving as an interface between Central SCM and Plants.
* Identify and address Plant HSE issues/concerns related to SCM, establishing priorities, facilitating solutions, and contacting central SCM and/or HSE when necessary.
* Supervise local Materials and Logistics organization, overseeing headcount, roles, and responsibilities, reviewing training plans for local Materials & Logistics departments, and ensuring People development through High Potentials identification and Logistics Mgrs succession planning.

**Requirements**

We are looking for candidates with a sound knowledge of intermodal traffic, packaging development, and Supply Chain Management. The ideal candidate will have fluent English skills, excellent formal presentation, written, and verbal communication abilities, operational planning experience, leadership skills, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and a minimum of 5-8 years of work experience in a multinational environment.
