We are seeking a highly skilled Structures Integration Manager to join our team at Payload Aerospace. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the assembly and integration of complex aerospace structures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement assembly procedures and technical approaches for launch vehicle primary and secondary structures.
- Lead the assembly team in the integration of aerospace structures, rocket engines, fluid systems, and other components.
- Monitor and supervise assembly processes, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to specifications.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving during assembly procedures.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to develop and implement processes in a rapidly evolving production environment.
- Implement quality assurance processes and maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized integration environment.
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in assembly and integration of complex systems in aerospace, aviation, or a similar field.
- Proven track record of leading teams and implementing process improvements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and experience with CAD and PLM systems.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Experience with design for manufacturing, kaizen, lean manufacturing, six sigma, and failure mode and effects analysis.
- Knowledge of orbital launch systems and launch vehicles.
- Experience with Siemens NX and Team Center.
