About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Architect to join our team at LVFS. As a strategic leadership role, this position is responsible for developing and implementing the company's architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the LV architecture strategy and roadmap aligned to IT strategy and business objectives
  • Lead the development of architectural standards, patterns, and policies
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and effective delivery of architecture services
  • Run the LV architecture board (LAB) and ensure architecture governance
  • Accountable for architecture as a service within the CTO function
Requirements
  • Proven skills in architecting large, complex solutions, preferably within the Financial Services domain
  • Wide understanding of different vendor systems, services, IT technologies, and their relevance, merits, and positioning
  • Experience working with diverse parties, including consultancy firms, outsourcing companies, devops teams, security teams, and 3rd party suppliers
  • Strong analytical skills to deconstruct the enterprise into views of the enterprise technical architecture
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain and 'sell' ideas to senior stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen, including industry- and domain-specific knowledge of the organisation and its business units
  • Good knowledge of industry trends and innovation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others on a common task, taking actions considering the views of others
