The Nordex Group is seeking a highly skilled Hydrogen Project Valuation Specialist to join its Development & Strategy department. This key role will be responsible for ensuring the financial models of e-fuel production projects developed by the company reflect the most reliable, accurate and relevant assumptions that drive project's value.

The selected candidate will work closely with the VP of Origination & Strategy and the Strategic Partnership Manager to conduct regular updates of assumption workbooks, ensure traceability of data points, and develop custom algorithms for cost estimation. Additionally, they will participate in key decision-making gates and conduct ongoing market research to extract relevant information.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to make a meaningful impact on the sustainable energy sector. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Engineering and at least three years of experience working in Financial Planning Analysis or a related field.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Updating assumption workbooks and conducting periodic reviews with data owners
  2. Ensuring data integrity and defining units of measure
  3. Developing custom algorithms for cost estimation
  4. Participating in decision-making gates and presenting portfolio updates

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
