About the Role
Our Torrelavega Regional Procurement team is responsible for managing all sourcing and purchasing activities for the Torrelavega site. As a Junior Regional Procurement Site Buyer, you will work closely with the Senior Regional Procurement Buyer and Category buyers to support the management of purchasing requisitions, requests for quotations, and contract management. You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage purchasing requisitions, including requests for quotations, offers management, negotiation, order and contract management, and suppliers evaluation.
• Collaborate with the Senior Regional Procurement Buyer and Category buyers to assume responsibility for plant spending in relevant domains.
• Manage local contracts within authority limits and implement regional/global contracts in coordination with Category buyers.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvements/corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements
• Relevant education degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science, or Economics, Business Administration.
• Relevant work experience in Industrial or Logistics with a minimum of 2 years.
• Spanish (fluent/native level) and fluency in English (both written and spoken) C1 minimum.
• Experience in digital procurement, such as SAP Ariba (Eauction), and SAP knowledge (e.g., MM module).
What We Offer
A 6-month fixed-term contract with an option to move to permanent, based on an onsite working mode.
