Cybersecurity Specialist

Applus IDIADA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our corporate cybersecurity team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough cybersecurity risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
• Operate and maintain cybersecurity systems related to compliance and auditing.
• Monitor systems and networks using the SIEM platform and vulnerability management tools.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, minimizing impact and ensuring rapid recovery.
• Collaborate in the implementation of proactive security measures to protect the corporation.
• Conduct periodic security audits and provide recommendations for mitigation.
• Contribute to the development of security processes and procedures.
• Monitor risk and control issues and take remediation actions.

Requirements:

• Strong interest and motivation to learn and grow in the field of cybersecurity.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge and experience in Cybersecurity, including frameworks such as NIST and ISO27001 and TISAX and regulations as GDPR.
• Skills and strategic thinking to review risk profiles and prioritize actions.
• Capacity to leverage existing information to determine independent controls assessments.
• Cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, CISM or CEH, are valuable.
• Bash, Python and Powershell programming languages are valued.
• Management of security tools, SIEM, EDR, IDS, Proxy, etc.
• Experience in systems and network administration.
• Security knowledge in cloud solutions, especially in Azure and AWS.
• Stay up to date on the latest threats and trends in cybersecurity, researching new techniques and tools to improve protection.

Education:

• Degree in System Informatics or equivalent.

Languages:

• High level of both oral and written English.
