Financial Operations Coordinator Job Description

The Finance Team is responsible for managing the preparation of balance sheets, financial statements, cash-flow reports, day-to-day record keeping and reporting, including all payroll, accounts payable and receivable.

We are currently looking for a self-motivated, well-organized Financial Operations Coordinator to become an integral member of the Finance team. This is a great role for someone passionate about financial operations, solution-oriented, and excited to contribute and learn in a quickly evolving fast growth company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine and validate invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in invoices with vendors.
  • Review and monitor transactions made with corporate cards for compliance and accuracy. Follow up on and obtain any missing documentation required for transaction validation.
  • Review and validate employee expense reports to ensure they meet company policies and guidelines. Address any inconsistencies or missing information in the expense reports, and record them in the accounts.
  • Support the accounting closure (Fixed asset depreciation, Intercompany reconciliations, reconciliación de saldos de proveedores, etc.).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with invoice processing and validation.
  • 5+ years of experience in an accounting role.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in Spanish and English.
  • Knowledge of Plan General Contable Español is a must.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience with Netsuite ERP is a plus.
