We are seeking a Senior Extra High Voltage Electrical Engineer to oversee all electrical engineering activities for specific projects, adhering to contractual requirements. This includes design, budgeted hours, schedule, and coordination with other departments and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Calculation:

  • EHV substations (from 66kV), AIS and GIS type.
  • Distribution and transmission lines (from 66kV), aerial and underground type.
  • EHV electrical protection system.
  • EHV protection and control system.
  • Availability and experience concerning design of MV and LV systems as well.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering specialized in Electrical.
  • Professional Experience: At least 10 years of experience in companies specializing in providing engineering services for Extra High Voltage installations.
  • Design Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the design of Extra High Voltage installations, including AIS (Air-Insulated Substations), GIS (Gas-Insulated Substations), distribution and transmission lines, as well as protection and control systems.
  • Knowledge of software: ETAP, EMTP ATP, AUTOCAD.
  • Fluent in English (Fluent in Portuguese well valued).
