Job Description:

Responsibilities:

As a Strategic Buyer at Airbus, you will be accountable for aeronautical sourcing activity, managing the tendering and contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with Company requirements.

You will monitor the contract with suppliers and Company stakeholders, ensuring the complete application of contract terms and its full performance in all dimensions (Logistics, support, quality, cost...).

You will lead, drive, and manage suppliers and supply chain related projects under AHE portfolio to maximize internal and external customer value, while minimizing total product cost & risks.

You will monitor and challenge suppliers operations to ensure a timely procurement, ensuring products are delivered on time, cost, and quality to our internal customers in close collaboration with Supply Chain and Suppliers Quality.

Main Activities:

Strategic Procurement Management:

You will be responsible for the full supply scope within AHE, building fruitful relationships with suppliers and settling binding commitments to ensure the best contractual conditions for the company, including but not limited to competitive prices, challenging OTD and OTQ performance, sustainable and reliable sourcing.

You will negotiate contracts and potential liquidated damages along the corresponding claims.

Export Control Compliance:

You will ensure export control compliance all across procurement governance.

Main Deliverables:

Contracts and Contract Amendments:

You will ensure contracts, contract amendments, and tendering processes are completed on time and comply with OP targets.

Claims and LD's Routines:

You will manage claims and liquidated damages routines, communication, and negotiation.

Prices and Cost Variance:

You will ensure prices and cost variance are controlled and boosted.

Parts Deliveries:

You will ensure parts deliveries are made in accordance with OTD, OTC, and OTQ targets.

Required Skills:

Good Relationship Building:

You will have good relationship building skills to negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders.

Negotiation:

You will have negotiation skills to achieve the best purchasing conditions.

Rigorous:

You will be rigorous in monitoring and challenging suppliers operations.

Fluent in English:

You will be fluent in English to communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
