We are seeking a highly skilled Application Security Engineer to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc. As an Application Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our applications and services.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough security reviews of applications and services using industry-standard tooling and manual code analysis.
- Identify and address security vulnerabilities, and develop and implement security automation to prevent future issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into the development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and industry trends, and provide guidance on secure software development practices.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including secure coding guidelines and threat modeling methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in application security, cloud security, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, OWASP Top Ten, and common application vulnerabilities.
- Experience with code review techniques and tools for identifying security vulnerabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
