Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Inorganic Chemistry at EHU
Job Summary: The Department of Applied Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry, Universidad del Pais Vasco EHU, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher in Inorganic Chemistry. The selected candidate will be involved in the development of novel molecular and polymeric coordination compounds based on lanthanide ions, focusing on materials with magnetic and photoluminescent properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of novel coordination compounds, emphasizing materials based on lanthanide ions with unique magnetic and photoluminescent properties.
- Design, synthesis, and characterization of organic ligands using techniques like NMR, XRD, and IR.
- Collaborate with the research team to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Present research findings and results in scientific publications and conferences.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry or a related field.
- Strong background in the synthesis and characterization of organic ligands.
- Familiarity with characterization techniques such as NMR, XRD, IR, etc.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
