About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional, entrepreneurial Full-Stack Software Development Engineer to help drive our mission at Amazon Key. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for translating product requirements into well-designed, well-documented, and well-maintained front-end code.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop web applications using TypeScript and Java on the frontend and middleware/backend.
  2. Collaborate with product managers, SDEs, QAEs, SDMs, BIEs, and marketers to troubleshoot and understand challenges facing our customers.
  3. Work with external stakeholders, including Key, Ring, and Amazon customers, to deliver exceptional customer and partner experience.
  4. Develop web tools that support our team and other partner Amazon Key teams.
About the Team:

The Amazon Key team supports millions of secure in-garage deliveries. Our plans include other products and enhancements around secure delivery. We are a large, cohesive, and distributed team focused on outstanding customer and partner experience.

Requirements:
  1. Experience in professional software development.
  2. Experience designing or architecting systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  3. Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  2. Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
