Job Description

The Scientific Content Creator plays a crucial role in transforming complex scientific concepts into engaging and accessible content for both specialized and non-specialized audiences. This involves working closely with product specialists, researchers, marketing experts, and designers to create content in various formats, including articles, brochures, technical documentation, videos, and social media posts.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create scientific content in digital and traditional formats, such as blogs, social media, newsletters, videos, brochures, white papers, and case studies.
  • Adapt scientific topics to an understandable language for non-specialized audiences while ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Conduct research on current scientific topics, review studies, and work with experts to ensure content accuracy. Researching trends related to the field.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop consistent and attractive communication campaigns.
  • Coordinate and participate in science outreach events such as workshops, talks, and fairs, both in-person and online.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in science outreach, science communication, or science journalism. Experience in Optics, Metrology, or Material Testing instruments is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials, Optics, Physics, or similar.
  • Masters in scientific communication or similar.
  • Strong understanding in metrology and optical measurements.
  • Self-motivated and independent, with strong personal communication skills (excellent communication and presentation skills are expected).
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Ability to generate innovative and engaging ideas for communicating scientific topics.
