Job Summary

Onyx-Conseil is seeking a highly skilled Principal Digital Design Engineer to lead our high-speed SOC design efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex digital ICs, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-speed digital ICs using Verilog and other relevant tools
  • Lead and manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Collaborate with analog teams to integrate digital and mixed-signal components
  • Develop and maintain strong mathematical, statistical, analytical, and conceptual skills for complex problem-solving
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting a collaborative and inclusive team environment
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements

  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering or communication systems
  • At least 10 years of experience in digital IC design, with a strong background in Verilog and digital design flows
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects and delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Strong mathematical, statistical, analytical, and conceptual skills, with the ability to apply these skills to complex problem-solving

Preferred Skills

  • Spanish language skills
  • Knowledge of full digital design flow, SOC architecture, IP integration, CPU/GPU/RISC-V architecture, high-speed digital IPs, synthesis, implementation, DFT, back-end/physical design understanding, FPGA implementation, prototyping, emulation, UVM Verification, test-benches, and system verilog
