Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtualization Systems Expert to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for implementing, administering, and optimizing VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) components, including vSphere ESXi, vCenter, DRS, Lifecycle Manager, and Host Profiles.

  • vSphere ESXi: You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and managing vSphere ESXi servers to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • vCenter: You will configure and manage vCenter to provide centralized management and monitoring of virtualized resources.
  • DRS: You will implement and manage Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) to ensure efficient resource allocation and utilization.
  • Lifecycle Manager: You will configure and manage Lifecycle Manager to automate the deployment, configuration, and management of VMs.
  • Host Profiles: You will create and manage host profiles to standardize server configurations and simplify maintenance tasks.

In addition to VCF, you will also be responsible for storage management (SAN, NAS, iSCSI), orchestration, monitoring, capacity planning, backup, and restore of both the virtual environment and VMs.

You will work closely with our technical teams to design, implement, and optimize virtualized infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation, administration, and optimization of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
  • Storage management (SAN, NAS, iSCSI)
  • Orchestration, monitoring, and capacity planning
  • Backup and restore of both the virtual environment and VMs

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in virtualization and cloud computing
  • Strong knowledge of VMware products and technologies
  • Experience with data center migration projects
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Other Requirements

We require candidates to be eligible for EU-SECRET clearance and have availability to travel occasionally. Proficiency in any other European language is a plus.
