Job Summary

At Grooo Ab, we seek an experienced Tech Lead to develop and manage the critical interface between our on-edge embedded software and video detection management system. You will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of software architectures that seamlessly bridge on-edge and server-based environments.

About the Role

As a Tech Lead at Grooo Ab, you will own the interface between our on-edge embedded software and video detection management system software. You will be responsible for mentoring engineers, providing technical guidance, and promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation. You will support the on-edge and server-based teams to define, optimize, and maintain software architectures, conduct thorough testing and debugging of both proprietary and third-party software, ensure compliance with industry standards, manage version control, product specifications, and produce comprehensive documentation to support development and customer interactions.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with 5-10 years of experience as a developer, with strong skills in C#, C++/Java, Angular, ReactJS. You should have worked with complex, large-scale systems, ideally in a distributed architecture, and have experience with backend services and real-time data processing. You should have a solid background in working with SQL databases to design and optimize scalable backend services. Your experience with C++ is particularly in multithreading, serial communication, and IP socket programming. You should have a deep understanding of embedded system software design and development, including driver and module creation, as well as deep understanding of software design and development for server-based solutions. You should be knowledgeable in network protocols and communication, CI/CD, and version control, and be able to act as a configuration manager for the system-level software releases ensuring stability of the interface between on-edge and server-based software releases.
