About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Back End Software Engineer to join our team at TUI. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying software applications in a cloud environment, specifically on AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop resilient and high-performing cloud-native applications using AWS services and cloud design patterns.
- Collaborate with the team to own the software products from conception to operation, ensuring a high degree of automation, clean architectures, and high quality.
- Develop and maintain a strong DevSecOps mindset, ensuring security is integrated into every aspect of the software development lifecycle.
- Work closely with the domain's Practice teams and Group Enabler teams to research, evaluate, and test new approaches, processes, and tools.
- Contribute to increasing automation and improving work processes and interaction within the team.
Requirements
- Completed technical degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in the further development of products and services, and in the implementation of customer requirements.
- Very good knowledge of.Net C# and relevant frameworks and concepts, such as.Net and Core, REST, MVC, and Microservices.
- Good knowledge of MS SQL and MySQL database.
- Experience in creating modern ASP.NET applications and working with Gitlab and AWS CodePipeline (CloudFormation).
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with Agile software development and DevOps, and experience working with Agile ways of working (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
