Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Banquets Supervisor to join our team at W Barcelona. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.

About the Job:
This role involves coordinating banquets and events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to multitask, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate banquet setups, including table arrangements, linens, and decorations.
  • Lead a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
  • Inspect and maintain banquet areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and vendors to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating staff members.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a fine dining setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of wine and spirits is a plus.
  • A valid food safety certification.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position that requires standing for long periods, moving around the restaurant, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will also be required to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation:
The salary for this position is estimated to be around €40,000-€60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
