Key Responsibilities- Lead and Develop Designers: Provide mentorship, coaching, and encourage skill development to build a strong design team.
- Cultivate Positive Team Environment: Create a supportive atmosphere by fostering communication, setting goals, and advocating for designers.
- Optimize Design Workflow: Integrate UX, UI, and development teams, manage resources, and experiment with new methodologies for efficient and high-quality design.
- Bridge Communication Gap: Represent the design team, communicate processes, and gather feedback to ensure smooth collaboration across departments.
- Iterative Design & Prototyping: Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, iterate based on feedback, and prototype designs to test and validate usability.
- Visual Communication & Design Systems: Develop visually appealing and consistent interfaces that adhere to design principles and style guides.
- Collaboration & Communication: Effectively collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, clearly communicate design decisions, and present design work to various audiences.
- Process Optimization & Measurement: Track progress, measure success through user feedback and data analysis, and continuously refine the design process for efficiency and effectiveness.
- 5+ years of experience in product design
- 2+ years of experience in a team lead role
- Strong understanding of design principles, user experience design, and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and coach other designers
- Passion for helping others grow and develop
- Experience with design team development methodologies and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
