About the Role

This exciting opportunity will challenge you to apply your knowledge of ERTMS principles and architectures in a cutting-edge field. You'll work closely with young and proactive teammates, providing support to organize and lead project Verification, Integration, and Test activities. Your goal will be to ensure the delivery of a complete, correct, and accurate Customer Solution that meets project contractual requirements.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Defining and reviewing verification and testing strategies for ERTMS projects in factory and site environments.
  • Ensuring adherence to reference processes, disciplines, methods, and tools, requesting deviations when necessary.
  • Organizing Kick-off meetings with Project Design teams for input document verification, subsystem, and system testing.
  • Managing the Requirement Validation Table (RVT) throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinating and monitoring project Verification, Integration, and Test activities, including close collaboration with Safety teams.
  • Leading verification and validation documents reviews.
  • Detecting improvement opportunities through analysis of defects not detected in laboratory testing.
  • Participating in internal and external quality and certification audits.
  • Developing ERTMS technical competence and mentoring new V&V team members.

About You

To succeed in this position, you'll need:

  • An Engineer degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working with ERTMS systems, preferably in validation or design teams.
  • Experience in National and International ERTMS projects.
  • Succesful experience in working in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Railway signalling principles and ERTMS Trackside and Onboard system architectures.
  • Competence with ERTMS specifications and functional requirements defined in applicable baselines.
  • Demonstrable experience working on ERTMS L2 (project design/validation; product functional validation).
  • Comfortable in laboratory environments, manipulating hardware and using software simulators, decoding, and analysis tools.

You'll be fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken, to fulfill this position's demands.
