We are seeking a highly skilled Global DevOps Engineer to join our Digital & Cloud Solution Delivery department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the Digital Transformation of RHI Magnesita, supporting the development of technical solutions and deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure using DevOps methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving and synthesizing data about customer business and technical requirements and addressing them with technical architecture(s)
- Understanding customer technical environments and mapping architecture/digital transformation solutions to customer business outcomes
- Supporting teams in building the DevOps development cycle and deploying/maintaining their infrastructure in Azure with technical expertise
- Providing guidance and support with technical expertise to teams for building cloud infrastructure and developing features for cloud solutions
We are looking for a strong communicator with a collaborative attitude, who brings new ideas to the table and works well in cross-functional teams. You should have a hands-on mentality, a structured approach, and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to improving the status quo.
Requirements- Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, computer science/engineering, or similar areas of relevance
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Serverless solutions, preferably within the Azure ecosystem
- Some affinity with CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps would be a plus)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell would be a plus)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or ARM Templates, as well as automation tools like Ansible
- Knowledge of software development (C# would be a plus)
