Key Responsibilities- Research and propose artistic styles for UI to ensure consistency with the project's genre and audience.
- Design and implement prototypes for new features and flows, iterating based on feedback.
- Own both interaction and visual design, defining consistent UI components and guidelines.
- Implement UI in-game and manage asset optimization.
- Develop innovative approaches to design, using creative facilitation techniques and leading stakeholder meetings.
- Take ownership of information organization, prioritization, and navigation flow in the game.
- Abstract design goals, KPIs, and distill key information for players.
- Benchmark competition and extract insights for UX Research & Design.
- Extensive experience working as a UI/UX designer.
- Experience working with free-to-play games.
- Strong sense of visual aesthetics, proportions, color theory, and typography.
- Proficient in creating detailed UI mockups with variations and behaviors.
- Proficient user of Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator; mastery of Unity or equivalent tool is a strong bonus.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- A hybrid working from home/office system, with relocation support for those moving to Barcelona.
- An impressive 25 days annual leave, not including public holidays.
