Investment Counselor Role

We are seeking a skilled Investment Counselor to join our team at Citigroup. As an Investment Counselor, you will work closely with our Private Bankers and Product specialists to provide investment services to ultra-high net worth clients and family offices. Your key responsibilities will include advising clients on portfolios, asset allocation, capital markets solutions, money markets, and alternatives. You will also be responsible for cultivating trusting relationships with existing clients and bringing in new clients/investment relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

* Establish, grow, and manage investment relationships with ultra-high net worth clients
* Provide advice and guidance on markets and actionable investment ideas
* Cultivate trusting relationships with existing clients and bring in new clients/investment relationships
* Collaborate with internal partners to leverage a wide array of resources

Development Value:

As an Investment Counselor, you will have the opportunity to develop within our areas of expertise, including Citi Private Bank and Global Wealth Management. You will also have the potential to become a senior producer or advance into team leader roles, or laterally to banking positions.

Requirements:

* Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and clients
* In-depth knowledge of traditional and alternative investments, wealth planning, and private banking services
* Ability to assess risk and make business decisions that consider the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets
