We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Repair Engineer to join our team at Siemens Gamesa. As a key member of our Repair Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the development and creation of technical specifications and supplier homologation for repairs and refurbishments of electrical and electronic components.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Specifications Development: Create and maintain technical specifications for electrical and electronic components, including motors, sensors, PLC/control devices, and electronic cards.
- Repair Solution Validation: Screen and validate new repair solutions to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards.
- Inventory Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce inventory for minor electrical and electronic components through technical assessment.
- Collaboration and Alignment: Work closely with global service departments to align on priorities and ensure seamless communication.
- Quality Support: Support the quality team during the qualification process of new workshops worldwide.
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual with a broad and practical experience in engineering. You should be able to work autonomously, be customer-oriented, and have advanced English skills for reporting, engineering statements, and meetings in our international environment.
As part of a global team, you should be prepared for at least 40 travel days per year to visit suppliers, workshops, factories, or sites.
