Electrophysiology Specialist

Our Electrophysiology (EP) business is advancing the treatment of heart disease with innovative technologies for atrial fibrillation. As a Field Technical Engineer within our EP team, you will provide expert support and advice on the use of Abbott's EP portfolio in your assigned territory.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Offer expert clinical consultation, teaching, and support on the use of EP products during electrophysiological procedures in hospitals.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of current and new therapies, technologies, and competitor devices in the therapy area.
• Resolve common customer problems and respond to unexpected requests with urgency and positive action.
• Provide technical support to the EP salesforce, proactively communicate information, and discuss product placement and complex case support with the sales team.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S degree preferably in Sciences or Medical Engineering (Biomedical Engineer preferred).
• Ideal experience in electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management or an equivalent role within industry.
• Familiarity with catheter lab and operating room procedures, strong cardiac anatomy & physiology knowledge, and effective communication skills are required.
• A willingness to travel 50% of the time and adapt to irregular workdays.
• Driving license and fluency in English B2-C1 level (mandatory).
