About the Role

We are seeking a talented Firmware Developer to join our team at Siemens Gamesa. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of firmware for wind turbine power control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware for power electronics converter control modules using C language
• Develop low-level firmware for peripherals such as I2C, SPI, CAN, or ADC
• Analyze requirements documents and create detailed specifications, requirements, and firmware design documents
• Verify changes implemented in the firmware and manage software versions using a version control tool
• Participate in converter validation to ensure compliance with design requirements
• Adhere to quality processes through the execution of test procedures

Requirements

• Passion for renewable energy and understanding of the importance of leading the change
• At least 3 years of experience in embedded firmware development using C language
• Deep knowledge of embedded systems and control engineering basics
• Experience in firmware design for DSPs and microcontrollers and ZYNQ SoC
• Real-time operating systems and digital signal processing knowledge
