About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Hospitality Host to join our team at Kimpton Aysla Mallorca. As a key member of our hotel restaurant team, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a memorable experience for every guest by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless food service.
  • Describe our menu items and drinks to guests in a way that showcases their origin, taste, and preparation methods.
  • Manage inventory, ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the working area, and report any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Process cash and credit card payments, settle voided checks or complimentary items, and supervise the pool area to ensure guest safety and adherence to rules.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working in a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Fluency in local language (Mallorcan) and English, with additional languages a plus.
  • Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, empathetic, team-worker, and passionate about service.
