The Internship

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in power management, working with cutting-edge monitoring systems and data analysis tools. As an intern, you will be responsible for:

Data Extraction and Analysis

Master the art of downloading and analyzing data from diverse parameters within our SCADA system. This includes irradiance, power, energy production, temperature, and more, sourced from pyranometers, inverters, meters, and weather stations.

Data Quality Assurance

Become a guardian of data integrity by meticulously checking the quality of downloaded information. Your precision will ensure the reliability of our analyses.

Data Processing

Utilize Excel files to process the downloaded data, paving the way for insightful conclusions and valuable insights.

Additional Responsibilities

While your main focus will revolve around data monitoring, you'll also have the opportunity to:

String-Level Definition

Play a pivotal role in defining the PV plants in our system at the string level using PowerBI, contributing to our data-driven approach.

Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, you must:

  • Be enrolled in a degree program in Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field at the University of Seville.
  • Have a minimum of B2 in both English and Spanish.
  • Be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, during the 6-month internship.
  • Be based in Seville.
