Job Description

As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will be part of a growing global team within BCG's Operations Practice Area, providing functional expertise and insights to case and proposal teams. Your role will involve working closely with case teams and topic/sector leaders to provide knowledge assets, analysis, and expert advisory.

You will serve as a thought partner and content expert, helping to structure and solve complex issues. Additionally, you will support business development and go-to-market efforts of the Operations Practice Area in Europe, contributing research and analysis to marketing efforts.

Occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected, allowing you to understand client requirements and design / develop solutions.

The Operations Practice Area is one of BCG's functional practices, helping clients create competitive advantage by enhancing their performance and building strategic capabilities.

As a SKA on CF track for the Operations Practice Area Procurement business in Europe, you will:

  • Drive problem solving and solutioning for clients, generating insights towards pragmatic solutions tailored to the business context.
  • Lead development and commercialization of Procurement knowledge and assets, aiming to innovate our offers and enhance our go to market approaches.

You will be working with a diverse pool of knowledge positions, allowing you to pursue exciting, innovative knowledge careers.

Our team is made up of experts who help clients on specific cases related to the functions and disciplines within the topic (e.g., procurement strategy, operating model, digital transformation, sustainable procurement, risk resilience, etc.).

Key qualifications include:

  • Knowledgeable on Operations processes related to Procurement strategy, value delivery, operating model and Digital/Gen AI.
  • Engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders, demonstrating expert presence and credibility.
  • Strong work ethics, service-mentality and willingness to showcase expertise.
  • Ability to multi-task operate effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Collaborative, team player – including in an international, virtual communications environment.
  • Flexibility and bring an entrepreneurial mindset, open for new things and able to propose innovative ideas.
  • Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include:

  • 2+ years of consulting experience with relevance to corporate functions; candidates with consulting experience preferred.
  • In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred).
  • Fluency in English; German language preferred.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency with MS-Office Suite (especially Advanced MS Excel).
