Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Pre-Sales Engineer to help us grow our business by executing and managing the presales process. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, a deep understanding of the enterprise private and hybrid cloud industry, and a passion for solving complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver presentations, demos, and use cases to showcase OpenNebula's capabilities
  • Drive high levels of engagement through solution positioning and RFQ/RFP responses
  • Conduct discovery sessions with prospects, partners, and customers to understand their cloud deployment challenges and future objectives
  • Qualify business alignment and technical fit between prospect, customer, and partner requirements and OpenNebula's product and services
  • Design and supervise Proof of Concepts (PoCs) with OpenNebula
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and market positioning of corporate competitors

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer
  • 3+ years of overall IT/development background
  • Experience in RFP's and RFI's, POCs
  • Experience working with global customers
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Analytical skills and the ability to recognize the demands on the side of the clients
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
  • Advanced administration of Linux environments: RHEL/AlmaLinux, Ubuntu/Debian
  • Virtualization: KVM, LXC, libvirt/QEMU, VMware
  • Demonstrated technical writing skills (in English)
