About the RoleIn this exciting opportunity, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their spatial data needs and requirements, gathering geospatial information requirements for environmental monitoring. Your expertise will be utilized to design the structure of the GeoDatabase, including feature datasets, feature classes, attribute tables, domains, relationships, and spatial indexes, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
Responsibilities- Requirements gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify spatial data needs and develop solutions that meet business requirements.
- Database design: Design the GeoDatabase structure, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Data modeling: Develop data models that reflect client requirements, processes, and workflows, organizing spatial data efficiently.
- Data migration: Coordinate the auditing and migration of existing spatial data from various sources into the GeoDatabase.
- GeoDatabase administration: Configure and administer the GeoDatabase, ensuring user access control, versioning, replication, and performance tuning.
