About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions that meet the business requirements of our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and maintain architecture roadmaps, including technical solutions for new and existing functionality across various projects;
  • Deliver architectural services, including guidance, conceptual design, technical innovations, and process improvements;
  • Work with developers to generate and maintain code according to agreed-upon coding standards and best practices;
  • Investigate latest technologies and build quick proof-of-concept functionalities to address future business needs;
  • Prepare, improve, and introduce new approaches, methodologies, tools, and techniques within the department;
  • Prepare, review, and validate software technical blueprints.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Architect or Lead/Chief Architect role;
  • Excellent knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process, including coding, testing, deployment, scalability, security, and maintainability;
  • Extensive experience in defining and enforcing architectural patterns, such as SOA, CQRS, and Event Sourcing;
  • Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining microservices architectures with a deep understanding of best practices, design patterns, and principles for highly decoupled and scalable systems;
  • Experience in data engineering, data analytics, and data governance, with a focus on making microservice data available to the wider organization;
  • Past experience in building reusable platform services and leveraging API-first approaches;
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strategies for efficient communication, data consistency, and resilience across microservices, including experience with API design, message-based communication, and event-driven architectures;
  • Very good knowledge of NoSQL databases such as CosmosDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, and Elasticsearch for data persistence and/or caching;
  • Vast experience in API Management (routing, gateways, versioning) with a profound understanding of API development aspects;
  • Solid experience in implementing observability, monitoring, and logging solutions to track system performance, diagnose issues, and ensure the health and stability of SaaS applications, with knowledge of popular tools and frameworks for these purposes;
  • Experience working with global and regional projects, virtual expert teams, appreciating local differences, and adapting to different cultures;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in English.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, which is estimated to be around €85,000 per year, plus a variable compensation plan. Our benefits package includes:
