Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Valve Testing Engineer to join our Testing Services team at Westinghouse Electric Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing technical and project management skills, performing and leading testing and maintenance activities in our Madrid Headquarters and at our clients' facilities.

Our team covers a wide range of technical areas of expertise, including electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation fields, related to plant components and systems testing and maintenance. We also develop, maintain, and calibrate testing equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform and supervise maintenance and inspection/testing activities in client facilities and headquarters.
  • Develop and write result reports, procedures, quality documentation, maintenance manuals, and other technical documents.
  • Analyze test results, perform calculations, and make improvement proposals.
  • Prepare technical tenders and attend internal and external audits.
  • Manage testing equipment, including maintenance, calibration, and checkups, and implement improvements and develop new tools.
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement process, including technology surveillance, self-training, and training junior personnel.
  • Over time, include project manager activities, such as organizing personnel, defining deadlines and priorities, and leading activities in the plant and at headquarters.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (mechanical/electrical preferred, also electronics, instrumentation, etc. can be accepted).
  • Availability to travel to client facilities for outage projects, both nationally and internationally.
  • Fluent English (min B2).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous technical experience in industrial and nuclear fields.
