EHS Specialist Iberia

At Importante Empresa, we are seeking a highly skilled EHS Specialist to join our team in Albacete, Spain. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and customers.

• Interpret and apply local and national EHS regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement EHS training programs to educate employees and contractors on safety procedures and protocols.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with site managers and supervisors to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

• Technical background in electricity, mechanical, or related field.
• Local certification as Safety Professional (Técnico de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales de nível superior).
• Physical condition and fitness to climb a wind turbine.
• Good knowledge of local rules and regulations framework.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and web-based tools.
• 5 years of experience in wind field operations and/or EHS, ideally in wind business.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

• Familiarity with OSHA (US) regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001, 14001 Certifications framework.
• GWO (Global Wind Organization) qualifications (WINDA code).
